We are caretakers for the future generations...

Our pendants are something extra. We go the extra mile to create something unique just for you where every piece is one of a kind, since it is hand made. A special customized jewelry for you to wear for decades. You are just a caretaker for future generations.

This piece of jewelry is shaped like the ancient "Braktea't". A magnificent piece of jewelry which can be used as an amulet. The Vikings and their ancestors wore these to protect themselves against evil and in the hope that it would bring them prosperity. Thor was the god of thunder in ancient Nordic mythology and his weapon was the hammer "Mjolner". It would return to his hand like a boomerang after he had used it. It was also a symbol of strong ties, and was used to consecrate marriages.

In the book "Edda" by Snorre Sturlasson you can read about Thor as being the strongest among all the gods and mortals. He reigns in an area called Trudvang, his house being the largest with 540 rooms. The name of his house is Bilskimir and with his wife Siv, Thor had a son called Mode and a daughter called Trud. Thor is seldom home. He is often seen steering his carriage with a cart pulled by two goats called Tandgniostr and Tandgrisner. The four horses placed on the upper side of the medallion are often found on rock-carvings in the south of Sweden. These carvings are from the Bronze-age and were often made in conjunction with rites of fertility. The sunwheels were used as cult symbols to ward off evil spirits. Before the 8th century the whole of Scandinavia spoke a fairly coherent language called Ancient Nordic. The text on the lower part of the Medallion reads: ' I Anna cut these runes'.

The path to present times leads through history…
